Pocket Studios began in 1998…

Even then we were using twenty-first century technology. Well, really it was what the twentieth century imagined twenty-first century technology would be – DAT recorders! 500MB hard drives! Ah, it was an amazing time. We started out as an on-location stereo audio recording company in New York City. Clients appreciated our aesthetic sensibilities, attention to detail, and the calm presence we brought to the often tense performance/recording environment. The packaging and artwork we did for audio projects prompted client requests for other types of design work, and web design grew to be a large part of Pocket Studios. We still work on location in New York, as well as in Wilkes-Barre in northeast Pennsylvania.
